LTATM: Episode 1 Inspiring Musicians with Stories
Let’s Talk About The Music: A New Beginning
Let's Talk About The Music has been off the air for six years. The original creators and hosts broke up after producing LTATM from 2015-2018. The show has since evolved through a great deal of healing, growing, and changing, thus calling for a new beginning with the remaining creator/host.
A 2021 reboot attempted to maintain the original format, honoring the contributions of departing crew members while infusing the show with new life. Unfortunately, too many things had changed. While the original show will always have a special place in the hearts of its fans, LTATM must adapt and move forward with a new structure and style.
As they say, “the show must go on,” LTATM is undergoing a rebranding from lessons learned via 899 The Current, known as KGRG at Green River College. The goal is to produce the show without a co-host.
LTATM’s creator initially struggled with moving forward, but Mr. Jon Kasprick and Mr. Jeff MacMillam provided invaluable support and advice. Finally, the creativity started to flow, leading to what the audience had been waiting to happen for six long years.
The return of the NEWLY rebranded Let's Talk About The Music is breathing a new life, a new theme song, and a whole new energy into highlighting the best of Pacific Northwest music and network with different musicians throughout the world. The show is to launching on October 2, 2024, with the first episode written as a blog. Listen through Audioboom, which will release the podcast to all its platforms. Three days later it will appear on YouTube

The Blog Post of Episode 1 (in Two Parts):
Inspiring New Musicians with Stories
Sean from Lust for Glory (of Spokane, WA) and Corey Wold (once from 21 Day Coma but now in Pure Energy) come onto the show to help inspire young artists and musicians who are just trying to break out on their own, like Keith from CHAOS 101.
To kick things off, we will share tips on how to get started in the music industry. I asked Sean and Corey to share their personal journeys in the music industry, hoping that they can encourage and inspire new musicians like Keith. Corey and Sean have a lot to share in this first episode so we will post it in two parts.
Launching October 9, 2024
Episode 1 part two:
Inspiring New Musicians with Stories.
In the second part of our first episode, we will focus on getting started in the music industry. Corey will start by chatting with Keith; after that, Sean will join in and ask Keith more questions before we all come back together for the rest of the show. They talk with Keith to get to know him and learn what inspires him in electro music. Turns out Keith's biggest inspiration is his uncle, who performs in a jazz and blues band in Arizona known as Soul Essential.
Sean, Corey, and Shels have known each other for a long time and share in a conversation how they started and what inspired them to become musicians or performers. If you want more information on the guest co-hosts, please visit LetsTalkAboutTheMusic.com.
